AK Worn Effects is designed to show realistic type chipping effects in different ways, the Worn Effects Fluid designed to give the effect of slight ware with smaller chips where as the Heavy Chipping Fluid designed to give heavier chipping effects.
These products have been designed to recreate the effects of the hairspray chipping method but with the added advantage of being an acrylic product that is odourless with a very stable formula.
AK Interactive Winter Streaking Grime is a grey/brown coloured enamel product that has been specifically designed to give realistic streaking weathering effects on vehicles with winter camouflage but of course can be used on any subject you wish.
To use the product simply paint thin vertical lines on the side plates of your model then blend with a brush dampened with either white spirit or odourless thinners using vertical motions.
This product can be thinned or removed with white spirit or odourless thinners meaning its impossible for you to make a mistake as if you are not happy with the result you can simply remove it.
AK Washable White Paint is designed to mimic the colour of temporary white paint applied as camouflage in the field & can be applied with brush or airbrush.
This product can be applied then removed with a paint brush & water to give an interesting worn effect, as well as applied over a coat of worn effects fluid & removed using that method.
AK Snow Texture is used to achieve ultra realistic thin layers of accumulated snow. This versatile acrylic product can be applied on its own or thinned with water or an acrylic thinner to improve its flow.
AK Worn Effects instructions for use - Apply 2 - 3 coats by airbrush over a painted surface. Immediately after the chipping fluid is dry paint the final coat of the chosen colour using an acrylic paint. After the paint is dry hydrate the paint surface with a paintbrush & water. You can now scratch through the top paint surface using a paintbrush or toothpick to reveal the paint colour underneath.
